Repos à Khare ce lundi...
Une petite journée de repos ou presque à 4 850 m dans le village de Khare (impeccable pour se soigner un début d'angine pas vrai Franck ?). Denis, Carl et Franck ont cependant fait une "petite" promenade d'acclimatation aux environs de 5 200 m, alors que Lhakpa, Anam et Tara étaient partis installer le camp d'altitude vers 5 700 m en vue de l'ascension du Mera Peak après demain.
La mousson a lavé toute la neige fraîche et les pentes sont en glace, il a fallu trouver des crampons pour équiper les porteurs qui, eux, doivent passer le col (le Mera La) demain, col qui culmine à 5 400 m. Demain, le départ est prévu pour 7h ou 7h 30 avec le projet d'atteindre le camp d'altitude vers 12h30. Aux dire des Sherpas c'est un camp très bien placé, au soleil ! Ce soir dans le lodge c'est spaghetti au repas, à midi, c'était Fried Rice et hier des patates frites avec une omelette...
