Une journée "normale" à Katmandou avec de belles éclaircies le matin, un peu de pluie et toujours la chaleur au programme de l'après-midi.
Les alpinistes de Samsara ont encore préparé les charges qui partiront en bus avec les porteurs. Le convoi mettra deux jours de bus pour parvenir à Tumlingtar. Et ensuite il faudra entre 10 et 11 jours pour que tout arrive au camp de base du Makalu. Les porteurs seront alors accompagnés par Passang Gombu Sherpa qui, le plus tôt possible, commencera à équiper la montagne en attendant l'arrivée des grimpeurs.
Franck, Carl et Denis ont essayé les masques à oxygène, leurs bouteilles pèsent 3,3 kilos ce qui n'est pas mince. Ils ont au total 15 bouteilles pour 6 soit près de 50 kilos à monter dans les camps.
Ce soir repos dans leur hôtel "Holy Himalaya", sans oublier le passage par l'incontournable pizza du restaurant "Road House".

A "normal" day in Kathmandu with nice morning clearings, a little rain and always the heat for the afternoon.
The Mountaineers in Samsara have prepared the loads that will go by bus with the porters. It will be a two-day trip by bus to reach Tumlingtar. And then it will take between 10 and 11 days for everything to arrive at the Makalu base camp. The porters will be accompanied by Passang Gombu Sherpa who, as soon as possible, will begin to “equip the mountain” while waiting for the arrival of the climbers.

This evening they will rest at their hotel "Holy Himalaya", no chance they could forget a quick inevitable visit of the inevitable pizza restaurant "Road House".
